Here’s the detailed explanation of each field.

GENERAL INFORMATION TAB

Option Title
Options can be considered as options that the tour has. So Option Title would be a text that differentiates this option from the other in this tour.

ex. “10:00 am Departure”, “Afternoon Departure”, “Double”, “Single”

Option Title is displayed on couple of pages on the front-end, such as Booking Form and Booking Confirmation, as well as on the list of options when a booking date is selected on Availability Calendar.

If the option you are adding is going to be the only one option in the tour, then the title could be departure time, or start/end time.

Color Bookings

Would you like to recognize bookings of this option more easily than others in the Bookings section? If so, select a color from the color pallet.

When this option gets booked, the booking will be displayed in the selected color on the list, in the Bookings.

Item Duration
Enter the duration of the tour. (ex: 6 Hours, 2 Days)

Min Per Booking
Minimum per booking if the number which customer need to make booking. If you enter 2, then customer has to 2 person at least to make booking.

Do not list in Marketplace
Check this if you do not wish this option to be available in your reseller marketplace. This option will still be bookable on front-end.
* We are in the beta phase for our distribution system and are working closely with a number of vendors to integrate the distribution network.
NOTE: This function is available for Rezgo Pro account only.

Click on the “Next Step” button to continue.

AVAILABILITY SECTION

Availability
Enter the number of available seats, tickets, etc. For example, if the option is boat tour and the maximum number of persons it can hold is 10, then your spaces will be “10″.
This number can be either displayed or not displayed on Availability Calendar (ex: “8 spots available”) on front-end. To hide the number, tick the checkbox.

Start/ End Date
Specify the period of time that the option is available for. If the option is available only on one date, select the same date for both Start and End Date.

Booking Cutoff
To set booking cutoff day, enter the number of days. When you set cutoff date to 3, Availability Calendar will not allow customers to select 3 days from today. For example, current date is September 1st and the cutoff date of the option is set to 10 (which means 10 days), Availability Calendar won’t show the option until September 11th.

Click on the “Next Step” button to continue.

PRICING SECTION

Pricing
There are 3 Default Pricing Labels: Adult, Child, and Senior. These labels are editable inside the text boxes. For example, you can change “Child” to “Child 2-11″, or “Senior” to “Student”.
You may have more than 3 price points. Click the “show more pricing points” button to display more fields. You can have them up to 9 labels.

Deposit
Set the deposit required upon booking. You can enter flat rate or percent (ex: 6%).

Min Price
This option may have multiple pricing rules in the future that lower the price of the option. The minimum price setting stops the price from going under its set amount.

Taxes
Enter the tax that needs to be added to the price. (ex: 6%)

After entering the information, click the “Submit Option” button located on Pricing tab. Your tours and options are now listed on the list in the left hand frame.

Each tour now has new required fields that are necessary for standardizing information for the Rezgo Distribution System’s websites. In the past suppliers were able to fill in various sections of their tour description in varying sections of Rezgo, which meant that when a reseller was looking to distribute the tour, it potentially lacked some essential information for booking. These new standardized fields allow us to accurately share tour information over numerous sales channels.

Here is a breakdown of the new fields:

Schedule:

“Departs” - How often does this tour/activity run. For example, Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Flexible.

“Unavailable Dates” - These are general dates when your tour/activity are not available, for example “Christmas Day, New Years, Easter”.

“Itinerary” - This is a breakdown of the tour components by time. You can list all locations you will visit, place a tentative time schedule, or the order that each sight/attraction will be visited in.

“Pickup / Departure” - Specify where your customers will meet or be picked up for the tour/activity.

“Drop Off / Return” - Specify where your customers will be dropped off after their tour/activity is complete.

“Things to Bring” - If your tour requires the customer to wear certain attire or bring specific equipment, please detail that information here.

Description:

“Introduction” - This is a limited (200 character) description of your tour that will be shown when there are numerous tours being listed.

“Overview” - Once someone has clicked on the tour, a more detailed description is needed. This is where you should talk about the experience of the tour, the sights, sounds and smells that make it unique.

“Inclusions” - Please detail all the things that are included with your tour.

“Exclusions” - Please detail all the things that are NOT included with your tour.

“Cancellation Policy” - Please include your product specific cancellation policy if applicable. Note that this policy will not be displayed on partner websites.

“Additional Info” - If there is other information that you feel the customer should know, please include it here. Note that this field will only be displayed on your Rezgo site.

Yes, Rezgo has the capability to handle multiple tours with multiple points of sale. Depending on the scope of your project, there are a few options for you.

If you are a small tour operator, and are looking to sell other supplier’s tours (partners), then I recommend Rezgo Pro. Rezgo pro has an integrated Point Of Sale interface that will allow you to manage walk up bookings and phone bookings. You will have to manually manage your availability so that you do not over book your partner’s tours. You can generate reports and manually track commissions based on these reports. rezgo Pro is $149 USD per month.

If you have a large tour operation, you can use the Rezgo Distribution System (RDS). We would give you a white label vendor portal that you would be able to load other rezgo supplier accounts inventory with. You would not have point of sale capabilities, but would have greater control over commissions and distribution. Rezgo charges an additional 5% commission on top of any booking that is processed through the Rezgo RDS.
