How to check out directly from POS bookings

When you make a booking on the Rezgo point of sale, completing the booking adds it to an order. You still need to complete the order to finish the process. This makes it easy to take multiple bookings for one customer, but if that isn’t your business’s workflow, finishing the order can be a frustrating extra step.

To speed things up, you can change the “Add to Order” button to an “Add and Checkout” button.

1. First, go to Settings > System Configuration from the main menu.

2. Click the Add to Cart Button dropdown. It can be found under the Point of Sale heading.

3. Select Default to Add and Checkout.

Once that’s enabled, the “Add to Order” button on the POS will be replaced with an “Add and Checkout” button that completes the order automatically.

Please note: If you have bookings in an active order when you Add and Checkout a new booking, the new booking will be added to the current order and that order will be completed.

How to add bookings to orders

If you want to add a booking to an order after making this change, you still can.

Click the down button next to the Add and Checkout button.

Click Add To Order.
