Release Notes: Rezgo 14.0
Release Date: September 9, 2025
Refreshed User Interface:
The Rezgo admin has been refreshed, with updates to colors, buttons, modal windows, and more. These changes are intended to improve Rezgo’s mobile usability, better adhere to accessibility guidelines, and generally improve the Rezgo experience for our users.
New Features:
- Templates: The main Templates section under Settings has been upgraded to allow you to save progress and preview changes before publishing, create and manage version snapshots, restore previously published versions, and compare changes between versions. (Note: Location Templates remain unchanged.)
- Manage Booking Labels: You can now create and manage booking labels directly from a dedicated Manage Booking Labels section (accessible from both Bookings and Inventory views under “Manage”), without needing to start from an existing booking. Additionally, all labels are now active by default when created, and the option to set a group of labels as required has been removed to simplify setup and reduce confusion.
- Split View: A new split view option is available to allow you to stay on the current page while viewing related details or taking actions in a panel on the right side of the screen – eliminating the need to navigate away from your current view. You can enable this using the Split View icon in the header.
- Dark Mode: A new dark mode theme is now available to suit different user preferences and improve visibility in low-light environments. You can enable it from the login menu in the top-right corner.
- Custom Form Flags: You can now add flags to checkbox-type custom forms to highlight specific bookings on the Dispatch and Daily Manifest views.
- Point of Sale: You can now streamline your POS checkout flow for Inventory items by setting the default cart action to add and checkout in one step. This can be enabled under System Configuration → Point of Sale by updating the “Add to Cart Button” setting to “Default to Add and Checkout.”
New Layout Updates:
- Booking Details View: The layout of the Booking Details view has been reorganized for clarity, and a “View Full Order” button has been added to make it easier to view the entire order.
- Settings Navigation: The Settings section has been restructured to make navigation more intuitive. Some notable updates include:
- Manage Alerts (previously under Notifications) has been moved to its own Event Alerts section.
- Branding (previously under Templates) has been moved to its own Branding section.
- Canned Messages (previously under Templates) has been moved to its own Canned Messages section.
- The General Settings section has been removed; Analytics now has its own section, and all remaining settings have been moved to System Configuration.
- Dashboard Updates: A new “Upcoming Events” section has been added to the Dashboard, and the “Feed” has been renamed to “Recent Activity” for better clarity.
Improvements:
- Itinerary Report: You can now generate a report specifically for itinerary items added to orders, making it easier to track and review details for these items.
- Manifest Report: You can now filter specific custom forms on the Manifest report to make it easier to sort and view the information you need.
- Resources: The deactivate option has been moved from the “Active” toggle to a “Deactivate” button on the details view. You can now also deactivate resources directly from the list view using the 3-dot menu for quicker access.
- Dispatch: You can now control the summary information shown on your Dispatch view, with settings for displaying or hiding bookings, passenger counts, waivers, and remaining availability. These settings are available under “Other Settings” in the Customize section.
- Saved Searches: You can now add labels to saved searches, making it easier to group and organize them for quick identification on the Dashboard (under Pinned Searches or Pinned Reports) and in the Saved Searches list.
- Itinerary: You can now add a direct link to a customer’s itinerary in notifications using the new itinerary link variable.
- Merchandise Unlimited Stock: You can now set merchandise items to have unlimited stock if inventory tracking is not required.
- Ticket Printing: You can now override the system setting for ticket printing restrictions (single print vs. unlimited prints) for specific inventory options under Advanced Options.
Other Changes To Note:
- Billing: Some account billing features are unavailable while we complete our internal billing upgrade. This only applies to Rezgo’s ability to bill our clients – client payment processing is unaffected.
- Website URL: This has been moved to the Settings view and the top-right login menu under “Preview Site”. It was previously on the Dashboard view.
- Messages Section: The general Messages section has been deprecated due to usability issues. Messages submitted through the public contact form are sent to the address(es) configured under the New Message Received field in Settings > Alerts. .
- Contacts: The “Latest Messages” section has been removed from the Contacts page, as the Messages section has been deprecated.
- Archived Bookings Filter: The “Exclude Archive” filter has been removed from the Bookings list; archived bookings can still be included.
- Barcode Scanner: The barcode scanner button in the Merchandise section of Point of Sale has been deprecated due to usability issues.
- Booking Labels under Inventory: The option to create new booking labels directly within Inventory has been removed. You can still select existing labels, but label creation is now centralized in the new Manage Booking Labels section for better consistency and organization.
- Service Provider: The “Referral Partner” provider type and the associated Referrals report have been removed.
- Reports Sidebar: The “Add to Sidebar” option for saving quick access to reports has been removed. You can still star reports for quick access directly within the Reports section.
- SEO Preview: The SEO preview section on the Inventory and Packages details view has been removed for a cleaner interface. You can still add SEO information as before.
