How to adjust a price tier’s waiver count

When you set up your inventory, you can require a signed waiver with each booking, or with each guest in a booking. But sometimes, neither of those options is ideal. In those cases, you may want to adjust the waiver count on a price tier instead.

For example, if your business offers a two-seater boat as a bookable rental, you might need waivers from both guests even though they’re only booking one kayak. There may also be situations where you need different numbers of waivers for different price tiers or options, or even no waivers on some and waivers on others. The waiver count field lets you set them up in a way that makes sense for your business.

To change waiver counts on price tiers, first, edit the option.

1. Find the price tier you want to adjust under the Pricing Tiers heading.

2. Click Advanced.

3. In the Waiver Count field, select the number of waivers you want each booking of that price tier to require. If you want no waivers, that’s at the bottom of the list.

Please Note: If you don’t see the waiver count field, that means your inventory item isn’t set to require waivers per guest. You’ll need to edit your inventory item first–you can’t add a waiver requirement to one price tier on an item that doesn’t otherwise require them.

4. Click Save Changes when you finish editing the option.
